The Baltimore Ravens are a professional American football team located in Baltimore, Maryland. They play for the NFL's North Division and play at M&T Bank Stadium. The Ravens won Super Bowl championships in 2000 and 2012.

The Ravens were formerly known as the Cleveland Browns. On November 6, 1995, then-head coach Art Modell decided to move the team to Baltimore. The Browns' home stadium at the time, Cleveland Stadium, lacked sufficient funds to cover the team's debts. Finally moved to Baltimore on February 8, 1996.

The Ravens inherited the history of the Browns, including the team's retired number and Hall of Fame records, until 1999, when Brown returned to the NFL, the historical part was officially returned to the Browns and became the Browns' expansion team.
